{"id":1415,"date":"2019-09-28T17:46:05","date_gmt":"2019-09-28T17:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.jonotarsomoy.com\/?p=1415"},"modified":"2019-09-28T17:46:05","modified_gmt":"2019-09-28T17:46:05","slug":"anti-graft-drive-as-development-faces-interruption","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2019\/09\/28\/anti-graft-drive-as-development-faces-interruption\/","title":{"rendered":"Anti-graft drive as development faces interruption"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Law Minister Anisul Huq said that anti-corruption drive is conducted as the country\u2019s development interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>He further said, \u201cPrime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken zero-tolerance policy against corruption and the ongoing drive against graft is part of the process to implement that policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Minister said this while addressing a function to award over scholarships to more than two thousand meritorious students by Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Law Minister said, \u201cCorruption is one of the major problems in society and the government is conducting raids to implement its zero-tolerance policy against graft.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe students have to oppose drugs and immoral things and the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would provide all necessary help and take appropriate actions in this regard,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Presided over by DBBL governing body chairman Sayem Ahmed, the function was also addressed by Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir and DBBL managing director Abul Kashem Md Shirin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Law Minister Anisul Huq said that anti-corruption drive is conducted as the country\u2019s development interrupted.
